Oriental Battleship Writes New Story at Home

Within the framework of its 50-year history, Marinos de Anzoátegui begins a new stage that reaffirms its place as a sporting symbol of eastern Venezuela.

During its press conference, the Oriental Battleship presented the structure that will mark this 2026 season, after its merger with Gladiators of Anzoátegui. An extensive team that brings together Creole talent and international reinforcements under the direction of Argentine Silvio Santander, with a clear vision of integration and evolution within the Professional Basketball Super League.

More than a union, the team defines it as a brotherhood: two philosophies that meet to build identity, cohesion and spectacle on and off the court.Luis Ramos Gym,as the main headquarters, it also gives back to the team one of its most emblematic symbols: "Devil's Cauldron", a space that transcends sports and connects with the memory and passion of its fans.






Captained by veteran Gregory Vargas, and with a team that balances experience and new promises such as Carlos Fulda, Jesús Moreno and Anthony Pérez, Marinos faces a demanding season of 24 matches in 58 days, with an eye on expanding his legacy: reaching his 13th title and continuing to consolidate a history that already totals 12 championships. 

This new chapter is not just about basketball, but about identity, region, and shared history.
